Optional Security Package

Take your new Softail® model to the next level with the optional Security Package, which includes Anti-lock Brakes and the H-D Smart Security System. The Security Package is available on all Softail® models except Cross Bones™. However, the H-D Smart Security System without ABS is available on Cross Bones™.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)

The Softail® ABS package provides a new level of braking consistency and rider confidence while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look by hiding the ABS components into the wheel hub. Keep the rigid ride, and add electronically optimized braking for when conditions are less than optimal—technology without sacrificing Sotail® style.

H-D SMART SECURITY SYSTEM

The factory installed next-generation security system automatically arms and disarms through a hands free fob, which communicates with the security modele on an individualized frequency. Switch off the ignition and walk away—the security system shuts down the starter, ignition and fuel injection to keep your ride safe. When you return, the systems are automatically enabled.
